Visa and MasterCard Payments Are Back
We’re delighted to confirm that Business Services Limousine now accepts foreign‑issued Visa and MasterCard again. After a sanctions‑related pause, we’ve restored a seamless, secure card experience for international travelers.
Russian domestic cards — including Visa, MasterCard, and Mir — have remained fully accepted. This update primarily benefits visitors and corporate teams paying with foreign cards.
What Changed in 2022
In March 2022 the international payment systems Visa and MasterCard announced a suspension of operations in Russia. Cards issued by foreign banks stopped working with Russian merchants, while cards issued by Russian banks continued to function domestically through the National Payment Card System.
For our foreign clients this meant relying on cash or workarounds. We immediately began searching for a compliant solution to bring back reliable card payments for international travellers and corporate passengers.
Clients using cards issued in Russia have always been able to pay in full without interruption.
International Cards Are Welcome Again
With the new processing partner in place, payments made with foreign Visa and MasterCard cards are authorized instantly. There’s no need for cash or intermediaries thanks to our secure processing gateway.
Currency conversion is handled automatically by the card‑issuing bank, and we do not add surcharges or hidden fees. You’re billed at the agreed service rate only.
